Dear parents,

Thank you for attending our recent Parent Teacher Interviews. We hope it was a time of reflection and goal setting for your child to engage in. As always, you can keep in touch by communicating with your child’s teacher through email and agenda.

The Lost and Found has a number of items ready for pick up. Please drop by and browse the selection of items. You may see some long lost pieces of clothing that belong to your child(ren). We have requested an additional set of clothing for Grade 1 and 2 students. Over the last few days there have been a number of children getting wet from puddles. It helps them if they have a change of clothes ready. That way they can refocus on their work. We have a lot of puddle areas and it is slippery outside so wearing rain boots is a good idea.

Our empathy goal involves collecting clean, gently used clothing for the Cerebral Palsy Association. The empathy committee has chosen meaningful stories and an action project that helps develop caring for others. As always, we hope our students will internalize this character education. Please reinforce this at home.

On behalf of our staff, I hope you had a warm and relaxing spring break. We can now refocus on learning and look forward to the last few months of school.

Sincerely,

Shakila Raja Principal
