At Almadina Language Charter Academy, the student council committee had set up a bake sale to raise more money for the Terry Fox Foundation. The bake sale was quite a success and altogether student council had raised $332.00. As a school, we had raised more than $1000! At the Terry Fox assembly, names of students who had raised money, were picked out of a box to pie some teachers. Since the student council committee had raised so much money from the bake sale, Ms. Ravazzano had picked out a Student Council member’s name to congratulate their hard work. Sheroog, in Grade 7, was the student chosen to represent the Student Council and she got to pie Ms. Ravazzano in the face.
