CIBC Run for the Cure

At Almadina Language Charter Academy, the student council committee had set up a bake sale to raise more money for the Terry Fox Foundation. The 2015 Terry Fox Run was a great success. We did our run on Wednesday, September 30th at about 2:00 with ECS arriving earlier to run a few laps without the huge crowd of Grade 1-3. Our goal this year was to raise $2000 and we easily reached that with a total just over $2600

Girls Volleyball

Almadina girls played their second volleyball game of the season with remarkable spirit and enthusiasm! Despite losing to KSC the girls showed awesome sportsmanship, incredible work ethic and overall improvement.The biggest improvement was their serves, especially from Areeba S. and Batoul A.   Their next games are against Ecole de la rose sauvage and Westmount Charter

Cross Country Running

This past Wednesday afternoon, forty-­four Almadina Panthers participate in their first Cross Country meet this year, held at Foundations for the Future ­ South Middle School Campus.  It was a beautiful, cloudless and perfect fall day for the event.  Our runners all ran to the best of their abilities and had an overall positive experience.
