Students at Almadina Mountain View campus have been practising their skipping skills and using their virtues for a good cause. Our Jump Rope for Heart event has wrapped up in the past week, as students fundraised and brought in generous donations in support of Heart disease.
As a school, we raised a total of $1914.50 and surpassed our goal of $1400! Way to go Almadina! It is great to see the tremendous spirit and pride we have in helping others.
To wrap up this event, classes participating their own skip offs in gym class and worked up quite a sweat! Many students raised enough to get special prizes! Congratulations to Mrs. Tyrrell’s grade 3 class for raising the most amount of money! Your generosity does not go unnoticed.
