This month, for their first field trip of the year, Grade 2 went to Fort Calgary National Historic Site. Students had fun handling artifacts and trying on costumes while role playing a true Calgary Herald story from the past. Students also learned to salute like the North-West Mounted Police, go on a museum scavenger hunt and help build a 3-D map.

It was a fun-filled learning experience, which could have not been possible without the dedicated parents who volunteered their time and expertise to help us along the way. We thank you all for making our day a success!!
