International Languages Celebration

Students vs. Staff Floor Hockey!

On Tuesday, March 7 the grade 3 & 4 floor hockey tournament winners faced off against the staff of Almadina. The students played a fierce, competitive game but lost 5-3 to the staff. Great work team 3 for winning the student tournament; your hard work and good sportsmanship paid off!

Empathy Virtue at Mountain View

Ahmed Abbas Fundraiser

Each year, the Almadina Language Charter Academy holds a fundraiser in memory of a fellow student, named Ahmed Abbas, who passed away in 2010. Students are tasked with seeking donations from friends and family to add to their class collection. At the end of the campaign, the students from each class that raise the most

CIBC Run for the Cure

CIBC Run for cure for Cancer was yesterday Sunday Oct. 4th. Mrs. Haque Mrs. Rollins Ms. Kemp Ms. Kabalan Ms. Yee Ms.Taghavian Ms. Hayes Ms. Khandani And Mrs. Chambers participated in this Run. Congratulations to Almadina Team for raising $2915.00.

Terry Fox Run

The 2015 Terry Fox Run was a great success. We did our run on Wednesday, September 30th at about 2:00 with ECS arriving earlier to run a few laps without the huge crowd of Grade 1-3. Our goal this year was to raise $2000 and we easily reached that with a total just over $2600
