In memory of Ahmed, donations collected from our community are given to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Almadina’s free uniform day/ fall fun on October 31st was a great success! Many students and staff chose to dress up in various costumes. We had witches, princess, clowns, superheros and teacher’s dressed up as playdoh. Thank you to all the students and staff for participating and making this day a fun experience for everyone.
November is an important time of year when our classrooms are filled with heartfelt discussions and lessons about the meaning of Remembrance Day. Students took the time to write reflections and poems, as well as create beautiful poppy artwork to commemorate the people, past and present, who sacrificed their lives and fought for our freedom.

On Thursday, May 10th, Almadina (Mountain View) successfully held another International Languages Celebration. Students from ECS to Grade 4, who are enrolled in Arabic and Urdu Language Options classes, made amazing cultural presentations to parents. A unique part of this year’s celebration was the MCs presenting in English, Arabic, and Urdu languages. Congratulations to the
