Almadina started its school year with the virtue of conscience. Through our school focused literature, A Bike Like Sergio’s, the students explored the message of making the right choices. Almadina’s Terry Fox Run and fundraiser was another great success this year! Nearly forty years ago, Terry Fox began his legacy of helping others touched by cancer. On May 30, Almadina students showcased their amazing performances for our year end virtues celebration assembly. It was a packed gymnasium that had many parents standing in excitement as they watched their children perform their favourite virtue songs. This year Almadina Language Charter Academy raised $4,350 for its annual Ahmed Abbas fundraiser. In memory of Ahmed, donations collected from our community are given to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
