Acceptance Virtue Assembly
On December 14, 2017, students, staff and parents of Almadina attended the Acceptance Virtue Assembly. We had an amazing set of performances from all grades. The Virtue Stars began the assembly by encouraging and exciting the audience with a contagious chant on Acceptance. Then, Mr. Doucette’s Grade 2 Class gave a heartwarming performance with their amazing song, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.” After, Ms. Vickers’ Grade 3 Class and Mr. Goodman’s Grade 4 Class wowed the audience with their skit on Stellaluna. Mr. Goodman’s Class also sang “Ben” by Michael Jackson. Later, Ms. Hess’ Grade 1 Class shared beautiful and inspiring poetry from “Be Who You Are” by Todd Parr. Finally, Mrs. Chatt’s ECS Class, Ms. Hess’ class and Ms. Vickers’ class all teamed up together for an amazing finale song called, “It’s Our World.” Then, the Acceptance Virtue Coupon Winners were announced. It was a spirited assembly and we were so grateful to have so many people attend! As always, a huge thanks to all the students, teachers, parents, and EAs for making our assemblies delightful and inspiring!
