Mrs. Grant-Suttie's Grade 6 students had the opportunity to learn about Wampum Belts. Wampum beads were used to create patterns on belts. These belts are used as a guide to narrate aboriginal history, traditions and laws.

Students in grade 5 constructed weather instruments and are using them outside to measure our weather!
Grade 5 students went on a field trip to the Glenbow museum. While there, they studied historical artifacts and learned more about early life in Canada.
Each year, the Almadina Language Charter Academy holds a fundraiser in memory of a fellow student, named Ahmed Abbas, who passed away in 2010.
